A journey of hunger, resilience, and relentless determination — transforming struggle into success under the Dubai skyline.
Mumbai didn’t welcome him with comfort; it tested him with struggle. He worked as a waiter, a laborer, and even drove trucks just to survive. His days were filled with hard work, and his nights ended in exhaustion. At seventeen, he learned AC maintenance, and by eighteen, he opened a small shop—but success still stayed out of reach.
Then he dared to dream bigger—Dubai. After facing countless rejections, he finally received a job offer, but there was one condition: he needed ₹60,000. His parents borrowed money from neighbors and sold their jewelry to send him abroad. In Dubai, he started with a salary of 1,000 dirhams. Within a few months, he repaid his mother’s debt and got her jewelry back. Life, however, remained difficult. He worked from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., lived in a small room with fourteen people, and stood in line at 4 a.m. just to use the bathroom.
When he lost his job with only twenty days left on his visa, he refused to give up. He took a contract to repair 38 air conditioners and worked alone from morning until past midnight to complete it. His first cheque of 4,200 dirhams felt like a personal victory. That same night, he bought an old Honda Civic—not just a car, but a symbol of progress.
With ₹1 lakh borrowed from friends, he started a small laundry service. Over time, he stepped into the real estate business while continuing his maintenance and laundry work—the very foundations that supported him during his hardest days. Today, he runs his office in Dubai’s Business Bay, near the Burj Khalifa. The boy who once hid in a train bathroom now builds his dreams in the shadow of the world’s tallest building. This is not just a story of success; it is a story of courage, sacrifice, and unwavering determination.
